To create this closeup I used the Autolevels command in Photoshop, and increased the Gamma to 1.20 in Irfanview, both done as automatic processes.

Yes, this is a very significant video in terms of proving controlled demolition. The key thing is the way the left end of the structure on the roof goes down first. It's partially hidden by the smoke, but you can see the left ~1/4 of this thing go down first, followed about 6 seconds later by the rest of the "mechanical penthouse" and then the building itself. That left end is really a separate structure, though the gap isn't visible in this view, which was referred to as the east mechanical penthouse.

What's so incriminating about this is the very selective way this major part of the roof drops (remember this "penthouse" is actually there to hide the big hardware stuff on the roof). Somehow the support for this equipment fails, and it falls exactly level with the roof without any other visible damage to the building. Major structural failure near roof level, then 6 seconds of no visible movement, no shaking or slumping of the building. Evidently all that equipment just fell one story and stopped without causing any more damage, even though it was much heavier that the falling floors in the towers.

And then, wonder of wonders, the west penthouse begins to fall, another abrupt complete structural failure at roof level. None of the pictures show significant fires near the top of the building, but somehow there is an elegant "controlled" slumping of the west penthouse. But before this is even finished the entire building begins to blow out floor-by-floor at ground level 600 feet below. So we go from a perfectly coordinated collapse at roof level to an even more perfect collapse at ground level all in the same fleeting moment. For any poor theorist of the non-demolition variety this poses a most profound action at a distance problem that no pattern of internal damage from fires could explain.

"A live CBS broadcast (from the WJHL.COM video archive) with Dan Rather beginning just after WTC-7 falls, with a video replay of the collapse about one minute into the clip, repeated again later in the clip. This is an interesting segment that shows the collapse of WTC-7 in surprisingly good detail (right-click on the image and zoom to full screen) despite the small image size. After some preliminary banter from Rather the replay of the collapse begins at about 58 seconds - this is when we first see the intact building. At 63 seconds the left end of the "penthouse" on top of the building starts to fall, and by 64 seconds this small section is down, level with the other side of the roof. There is no visible movement for six seconds, at which point the actual collapse begins. At 70 seconds we see the top of the building begin to drop, and by 77 it appears to be all the way down.

This sort of collapse is precisely what would be expected from a classical controlled demolition, with the charges going off at ground level to allow the building to settle into its own footprint. Of all the collapses WTC-7 was the most precise, with almost all the wreckage confined to the footprint of the building. It appears that some internal charges were set off to "adjust" the internal structure of the building for an orderly collapse, causing the left end of the penthouse to drop. The building had an unusual design because it had to be built over an existing three story tall electrical substation, leading to a large transfer truss through the middle of the building above the electrical gear. Such a non-homogeneous structure would not fall perfectly straight without some preparation."
