Steve,

 

I asked you a very simple question – one which can be answered with a single word. Therefore I would appreciate a prompt reply.

 

In your reply to m first mail, you implied that you were retracting and apologizing for the remarks in your afterword with which I took issue.

 

However, it wasn’t clearly stated as such, and I would like to have that clarified.

 

I’ll remind you that I’ve shown you the courtesy which you failed to extend to others, including myself. That is, making private contact to discuss issues of concerning before launching public attacks.

 

I don’t think it’s too much to ask in return that you promptly give me a one word answer to a very simple but important question.

 

You are retracting and apologizing for the remarks in question ?
