Freedom of Speech!
The US government warned TV networks that Osama might be passing secret
information in his messages, and that they should be careful about broadcasting
them.
“At best, Osama bin Laden's message is propaganda...”
the US government said.
Do you think our government is truly trying to protect us? Or, is
the US government is worried that more people might agree with Osama that
the USA should quit meddling in the Middle East?
America Online is also censoring messages!
America Online has message boards for its members where we can post messages.
The message boards are for mainly for entertainment; ie, nobody goes there
to learn about the world. Because children can access these boards, they
have censors to delete certain messages.
I never paid much attention to the message boards before the attack
at the World Trade center. After the attack I looked at the messages to
see what sort of reaction the people had. Almost everybody was agreeing
that we should immediately begin a slaughter of the Arabs.
I began posting messages that had a link to my "Revenge" article. I
noticed that some of these messages disappeared from certain message boards.
I also noticed a few other people complaining that their messages disappeared.
One time I was reading a message that had a link about a Navy ship that
was reportedly attacked by Israel in 1969. There were several responses
to this particular message. As I was looking at the responses they started
to disappear. A few moments later the entire message was gone. The censors
had obviously taken it out while I was looking at it.

The person who posted that link mentioned that we must read
it quickly before the censors take it away. He complained that
he had posted it before and it disappeared.

Nobody censors nonsense; they only censor the truth.
The censors on America Online are trying to control the opinions of the
American people by removing messages that criticize Israel. The censors
allow anti-Israeli messages to remain on the board if the messages are
stupid,
but some boards delete my messages within minutes, and they delete the
message about the Navy ship within minutes.
The censors appear to be doing this on their own rather than because
the AOL management told them to. The reason I say this is because some
boards let the messages remain. It simply depends on who the censor is.
Obviously, some censors consider the article about the Navy ship and
my documents to be dangerous. This makes me wonder if perhaps the censors
know that the accusations about Israel sinking that Navy ship are true.
The message boards on America Online are full of nonsensical remarks.
Censors normally do not bother to censor nonsense.
Their censoring of that Navy ship article gives it some credibility.
Does this have any importance to you?
You may think that because the message boards belong to America Online
that the censors can do as they please. You may think this is a trivial
incident of no importance to you.
However, it shows that there are people who will take it upon themselves
to violate our laws of freedom of speech in order to promote
Israel. There may be other people censoring other messages in
order to promote some other cause. Altogether, there may be a lot of people
manipulating the information that we are exposed to.
What if these people were counting ballots?
During the last presidential election, the results in Florida were so close
that the Democrats wanted to count the ballots a second time, and then
a third time. They counted several times, and each time Al Gore would pick
up a few more votes.
What if some of the people who were counting those ballots were like
the censors for America Online? Is it possible that some of them would
deliberately discard ballots for George Bush? Or were people discarding
ballots for Al Gore? Or were both groups
trying to cheat, with the end result that they cancelled each other's cheating?
Invalid ballots are common. However, the outcome of an election should
not change if the ballots are counted a second time because
some of the invalid ballots should be for George Bush and some should be
for Al Gore, and they should be in the same percentage as the valid ballots.
The Bush/Gore election was said to be different than the others. Specifically,
the Florida Democrats complained that the design of their ballot was causing
most of the invalid ballots to be for Al Gore. The Gore supporters also
complained that many of their voters in the Palm Beach area were extremely
old and/or suffering from mental disorders. Therefore, they claimed, by
counting the ballots again, Al Gore would win the election.
My opinion is that neither Al Gore
nor George Bush is qualified for president. I would also say that anybody
who cannot vote properly should not be voting.
Furthermore, when an election is so close that counting the ballots a second
time can change the winner, the election should
be held again. If the voters cannot decide who should be president,
we should hold another election with different candidates. We should find
a president that has more support.
How much manipulation is occurring?
Getting back to my point, as I watched messages vanish from the message
boards at America Online, I had to wonder what would happen if these people
were counting ballots. If a person will censor messages in order to manipulate
your opinions, can you trust him to count ballots?
I also wondered how many of these people were involved in producing
television news, newspaper articles, or magazines. How many of these people
are government officials, or United
Nations employees? Since they try to manipulate the opinions of people
on America Online, wouldn't they also try to manipulate the opinions of
the TV viewers, the government, and the United Nations?
Everybody has their particular biases, so when a person writes an article
it will be a reflection of his personal opinions. However, what is happening
at America Online is beyond a personal bias; it is deliberate
censoring of information in an attempt to manipulate.
When this sort of censoring occurs in Russia, the Americans jump on a pedestal,
insult the Russians, and brag that we have freedom of speech.
The difference between Communist Russia and America is that the Russian
government would manipulate the information, whereas the American government
has no control over information. In America the manipulation is done by
individual
citizens and groups of citizens.
While this is better than allowing the government to censor information,
we should not tolerate it. A person
who has influence over information should have to follow higher standards
of behavior.
The USS Liberty
The unanswered question is if Israel attacked the USS Liberty on purpose,
why
did they do it? The USS Liberty did not have any way to defend
itself; it was not a war ship, and
there were no military ships nearby. It was an information gathering ship.
Why
attack a non-military ship that is all alone?
To summarize one speculation, Israel was conducting a mass
murder of Arabs and the USS Liberty was almost within visual
site of it. Rather than get caught doing what they condemn Nazis for doing,
the Israelis attacked the ship, destroying the ship and killing many of
the people on it.
Check out that link about the USS Liberty. If the Arabs
had attacked a Navy ship, would you forget the incident if the Arabs told
you:
"Ooops! That was an accident! Gosh, that ship looks so much
an Israeli war ship! Sorry!"
Any US military man (especially a Navy dude) who believes the Arabs
maintain a fleet of military ships that look like the non-military
US ships as well wear a sign on his back:

Most Americans are easy to manipulate
You may wonder how Israelis could think it is possible to manipulate Americans.
The reason is that most Americans rarely make an effort to learn about
an issue.
You, who read documents on the Internet, are in a tiny minority. Most
Americans only watch TV or listen to rumors; they will not make any effort
to read different or controversial opinions.
